We want to make sure that everyone gets their hands on a unique Mae piece, no matter where they are in the world! So, we calculate the delivery charges based on the shipping destination, which means once you place an order, our system will automatically calculate the delivery charges and show you the total amount.
When you place an order with us, we'll need a little bit of time to get everything stitched up. So, we ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for us to work our magic before we dispatch your order. We'll do everything we can to get your order out the door as soon as possible. Sometimes unexpected delays happen, but if there's a hiccup in the process, we'll shoot you an email to let you know
When it comes to shipping, if you're in India, you can expect your order to arrive within 3 business days of dispatch.
If you're an international shopper, expect your order within 5 business days of dispatch.
We go to great lengths to make sure your orders reach you in perfect condition, thus, we usually don't usually do returns. But if you want to swap something out and get an exchange Just drop us a mail mae.studio.india@gmail.com
However, in case your order has a problem, contact us with the specifics and we can work on a return and refund process. Keep in mind, that you’ll need to cover your own shipping costs to send the item back our way. Unfortunately, we can't refund the original shipping fees you paid to get the item in the first place. Finally, make sure the item is still in its new, original condition!
If your item is damaged or of the wrong size, just shoot us an email at mae.studio.india@gmail.com within 10 days of receiving the package.
Keep in mind you will have to bear the shipping costs of sending the item back to us. And further shipping cost of sending you the new piece, in case of replacement. When you send your return package back our way, please make sure it's in perfect condition - no signs of wear or washing. Once we receive it, analyze it, we'll start processing your refund.
We'll return your moolah via the same payment method you used for the transaction, and we'll get it done within 48 hours of receiving your return. Keep in mind that it might take 5-7 days for the refund to show up in your account, depending on your bank.
P.s. we can't refund any postage, handling costs (Paypal charges) or duty reimbursement.
If the item gets damaged during shipping, Mae can’t be held responsible.
~ Mae discourages you to undergo this long, and expensive affair of returns and exchanges. We urge you to gift or give your piece away instead and buy yourself a whole new piece. This not just saves you extra money on shipping but is also a greener route, as there is a lot of petrol and fuel used in shipping services.

We have an extensive internal quality control process that ensures each item meets our high standards before it makes its way to your closet. It's like a fashion boot camp for our garments, putting them through rigorous tests to make sure they're up to mark. From stitching to fabric to the overall design, we scrutinise every detail to make sure you get the best possible Mae experience.
We believe in delivering more than just fashion. Your Mae order is packed in a handmade bag made from recycled waste plastic and leftover brocades and lovingly crafted by a team of creative and environmentally-conscious elves, read more here. We ship from New Delhi through DHL/UPS to ship your orders.
Mae garments are oversized and they look and feel the best when sized up. Thus if your body measurements exists in-between sizes, always go for the bigger size.
Furthermore our garments are degendered and so is our sizing chart. Forget your conventional size chart measurements and select your Mae size purely on the basis of your current body measurements.
