Additionally, Mae is passionate about transforming your heirloom sarees into new, contemporary garments, custom-fitted to you, for your special occasions. We are open to taking on larger projects and invite interested parties to reach out for more information.

 We believe in providing high-quality and sustainable fashion that looks and feels good. One of our core beliefs is in upcycling vintage sarees, which are 20-35 years old that are often kept in closest for decades and transforming them into long lasting and versatile garments that can be worn for various occasion. We take environmental sustainability seriously and it shows in our products as well as our packaging. We use scrap plastic and leftover fabrics to create our packaging, which reduces waste and contributes to a more sustainable environment.

We encourage customers to order carefully and thoughtfully, keeping in mind the 2-3 week time period it takes to make each piece. We appreciate our customers' patience and understanding during this time.


While we do offer exchanges and returns in certain cases, we recommend against it because it is more expensive and uses excessive petrol, which is bad for the earth.
